We have been hosting International students for over 12 years and love it!
My husband and I have 7 children (3 boys and 4 girls), ages my contact page, and 1. We are active in our church a couple days each week. We enjoy going to the beach, having BBQ's, and our children love to play soccer, basketball, football, boxing, drums, ukulele and the piano. Anywhere we go, you are welcome to come with us!
We live 1 mile from SDSU. The bus is half a mile from our house and it takes about 40 minutes to get Downtown by taking 1 bus. We are about 40 minutes away from Grossmont college by taking 2 buses. We have hosted students that attend SDSU, ALI, LSI, Connect English, Embassy, SDUIS, Converse, ELS, IH and Grossmont. Select foods are provided for breakfast and you may have full access to the kitchen to cook for yourself if you want to.
We require a $200.00 deposit in case of damages and/or cancellation or in the case of an early move out. A 2 week notice is needed if you plan to leave.
We have 5 rooms available for students. Each room has a desk, chair, dresser, 2 beds, TV, linens, towels and wireless Internet.
I wash everyone's clothes as they need it.
We have 2 dogs that stay outside.
You are welcome to have friends come over. Our home is your home!
We do not allow any drinking alcohol at our house.
