Dear prospective homestay guest,

I am running a homestay because when I was young, my family provided a homestay for international students. I would like for my current family (children and pups) to experience sharing thier home with international students and learn about cultures from around the world. My Father was in the Navy for over 20 years and I had the opportunity to travel to various Asian countries and lived in Japan for over 12 years.

My residence is centrally located conveniently in central Mission Valley which is a few minute walk to the bus stop and a 10-15 walk to restaurants and shops! Down town, Old Town, Bay and Beaches, Sea World and many wonderful attractions and sites are only minutes away by car!

I enjoy cooking meals, hiking and biking and playing various games with my children. My family loves outdoor activities and to serve in ministry work to help others.I am currently a specialty teacher at a local Charter school and a part time Child Development instructor at a local Community College. I previously taught ESL in Japan for several years.
