Looking for a homestay in San Diego

China
I’m originally from China. I spent two years in Paris, France for an exchange during my bachelor. After I finished my master study in Xi’an, China, I moved to Bergen, Norway for my PhD.

My PhD project is related to the study of toxicant system of Atlantic cod. We’re collaborating with a research group in UCSD, Palsson’s group, which is the top in the field. To strengthen our collaboration, I’m going to visit the collaborator for six months.

I love to experience different cultures and living styles. Xi’an used to be the capital of 13 dynasties in the ancient China, so it’s a very historical city with lots of special and traditional food. Paris is like a 24/7 party: there’s always something exciting waiting for you to explore. Bergen is a small city surrounded by mountains, and there are 300 days raining in one year. But once it’s sunny, people will rush to the mountain hiking or jump into the fjord swimming. I’m now very looking forward to experiencing a new life in San Diego!

I don't want to spend too much time on the way to the campus. So I'm looking for an accommodation close to the campus (within walking distance or within 30 minutes by bus)
