My name is Ruben and I am offering homestays at my home in sunny San Diego, Caliifornia! For your convenience, I've listed some quick facts about the place below.
Cost - The cost ranges from $950/mo to $1150/mo depending on the room. Rent includes utilities (water, gas, electricity, high speed internet, cable TV), use of a shared bathroom, use of common space and appliances (refrigerator, washer, dryer, etc).
Location - The house is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood several minutes walk from bus stops, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping centers, parks, and a library. Nearby bus stops provide rides regularly to UCSD, SDSU, Miramar, Mesa, San Diego City College, Grossmont, Downtown San Diego, beaches, and hiking trails.
Rooms - Each move-in ready private room comes furnished with a bed, closet space, desk, new ceiling fan/light, high speed WiFi, and plenty of natural light from the side yard entrance. There are no pets, no smoking, and no drugs allowed. Bathrooms are shared with one other housemate. The living room, kitchen and laundry room are all considered common spaces which are shared among all the housemates. Cookware, tableware, utensils, and appliances are provided. Each homestay guest would have their own refrigerator space and cabinet space. And if needed, there is ample street parking within steps from our front door. Our property also features advanced spin bikes and a fully equipped calisthenics gym along with kettlebells and plyo jump boxes at your disposal, so you can maintain your fitness routine while enjoying all the comforts of home.
House - The place is currently home to several people whose professions range from visiting scholars/researchers to graduate/undergraduate students to young professionals and interns.
About myself - I'm a working professional spending the majority of my time perfecting my craft as a clinical pharmacist at a couple different companies/settings. I have spent a significant portion of my life in school, and so I'm quite familiar with the needs of student/intern/young professional life. One of my goals here is to provide a quality place to stay for a reasonable price. At the same time, I'd like to remind any prospective tenant that any opportunities to meet new people is an opportunity to network, learn and develop social and professional connections. And so, I treat this as such.
