Tony and I have been hosting students for seven years. We are both retired. Tony likes to garden and do woodworking projects. I like to do decorative painting and knit.
We both like to cook and love to experiment with different culture's foods. We serve a continental breakfast during the week and full breakfast on the weekends. Dinners are a variety of kinds of foods, American, Mexican, Asian, etc. We eat as a family and enjoy interacting with our students at the dinner table.
The larger bedroom (Room #2) for the student has a queen sized bed, bedside table with lamp, closet with mirrored doors, large dresser, desk, chair and desk light. The room has a ceiling fan plus lights.
The smaller bedroom (Room #1) has a twin sized bed, closet with built-in shelves, small dresser and built-in desk. It has wood floors.
There is air conditioning in the house. Bathroom is shared with a walk in shower. Laundry facilities are in the garage.
There are no smokers in the house but smoking is allowed outdoors only.
We live in the heart of San Diego in the Clairemont/Linda Vista area. We are one block from public transportation. Mesa College is 1/2 mile away.
